There’s no stopping LeBron and the strong Cavs!

Cleveland Cavaliers 130-86 Boston Celtics

Boston fans wanted Cleveland. Now, they might be thinking that they shouldn’t have wished for that.

It’s another incredible live betting win for the Cavaliers, but it’s unlike anything that sports betting fans have seen in the NBA playoffs as the Wine and Gold surprised online gambling with a Game 2 annihilation of the Celtics.

It didn’t even look like the finals of the Eastern Conference. Instead, it’s a result you would only see in NBA 2K.

Coach Brad Stevens opted for a small ball lineup – like the one he used against Chicago in the first round – and Coach Tyronn Lue called that a “smart” move. As it turns out, the Cavs coach was just acting kind to the opponents he planned to destroy.

The small ball was a disaster, and there’s no any other way to describe the Celtics’ 44-point loss but a complete embarrassment.

Cleveland set an NBA postseason record with their 41-point halftime lead – breaking Detroit’s 1987 playoffs record for the biggest in modern-day NBA. Their Big Three of LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love even outscored the whole Boston squad in that stretch, combining for 54 points while the home team only scored 31.

Isaiah Thomas, who was expected to carry the Boston offence and penetrate the Cleveland defence, did not make a shot out of his six attempts in the first half. He was then ruled out of the second half with a hip strain.

Boston played better after halftime, but Cleveland’s first-half domination appeared to have broken the spirit of the players as the visitors led by as many as 50 points before romping to victory and settling for a 130-86 scoreline.

It was the Celtics worst home playoff loss in the franchise’s storied history.

James finished with 30 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three blocks for the Cavs while Irving chipped in 23 markers. Love, on the other hand, had 21 points to go along with 12 boards.

Jaylen Brown, meanwhile, is the highest scorer for the C’s with 19 in 23 minutes of action.

Next up is Game 3 on Monday at Quicken Loans Arena where the Cavs will look to secure a 3-0 lead and possibly stage another sweep – a result which wouldn’t come as a surprise.
