Tyronn Lue knows that defence is the problem for the Cavs, but it’s not comforting that he has a “fix” that isn’t sure to work. This fact is more worrisome given that they will be visiting Gregg Popovich’s Spurs who have one of the best home records in the league.
Of course, Cleveland’s Big Three are capable of carrying the scoring load to make up for their weakness, though they can’t afford to slow down (or rest!) with San Antonio’s Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol playing great attacking basketball lately.
Although this one should end up close, I think the Spurs can overcome a -5.00 handicap that pays at 2.01.

Starting Seth Curry at the point guard position, it’s clear that the Mavericks are experimenting for the future. They have nothing to lose now that the playoffs are well beyond reach, so they are just expected to tinker with their lineup in the remaining games. With that said, Russell Westbrook should be able to get his 37th triple-double and lead the Thunder to a comfortable victory. Go for Oklahoma -1.50 for 2.00.
New Orleans Pelicans @ Utah Jazz (March 28, 10:30 GMT+8)
With Gordon Hayward still questionable to play for Utah after obtaining a bruised left thigh yesterday, the Jazz might be forced to rely on their Joe duo to fill his spot. This situation, however, is favourable for the Pels as this is their best chance to get a W over the Jazz and avoid a sweep. It couldn’t come at a better time as well considering that they are on a roll even without DeMarcus Cousins.
Memphis Grizzlies @ Sacramento Kings (March 28, 10:30 GMT+8)
If there’s one thing we proved in the Kings’ come-from-behind win over the Clips, it is that they have what it takes to pull an upset. Hopefully, Buddy Hield, Willie Cauley-Stein and co. can show the same grit against the team that popularised the “Grit-n-grind” mentality.
Sure, it will be a tall order against Memphis and their top-five defence, but it isn’t at all hopeless with the Grizz losing three consecutive games.
