A Big Win for Atleti and Football Bets are Back On!

It seemed pure fantasy a few weeks ago but, believe it or not, if Atletico Madrid can win at the Camp Nou on Sunday then La Liga is right back on.

Over the last five league football games, Diego Simeone’s men have reduced the deficit from 11 to five points as Barca have slipped up three times. Mobile betting fans worldwide will have all eyes on the big game in Barcelona this weekend.

WEEK 27 SATURDAY:

Villarreal vs Girona

The Yellow Submarine is currently in sixth, the final Europa place, with five teams on its trail. Girona in one of them, four points back in eighth place. But Manchester City’s sister club is much stronger at home and suffered a 6-1 stuffing at the Camp Nou recently.

Sevilla vs Athletic Bilbao

Fifth-placed Sevilla has been in patchy form at home with three wins from the last six at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao is in no danger of relegation or troubling the Europe chasers, and even with the attacking skill of Aritz Aduriz, has played out 18 of 26 matches with fewer than 2.5 goals. You can get odds of 2.00 on under 2.5 goals here.

WEEK 27  SUNDAY:

Deportivo La Coruna vs Eibar

The nightmare continues for Depor, one of four teams cut off at the bottom and without a win in five at home. They need their star Florin Andone to add to his six goals pretty quickly. Eibar is in seventh with only one defeat in the last five away games, so looks pretty good value at odds of 2.00, Draw no Bet, to win.

Leganes vs Malaga

It’s a good job Leganes had such a strong first half of the season, as the Madrid minnows have taken just two points from the last five games and dropped to 16th after a 4-0 thumping by Atletico. They are ten points clear though and that could easily be 13 after they play rock-bottom Malaga, on a run of five consecutive losses.

Real Madrid vs Getafe

It must be a little galling for Los Blancos to be the support act for the weekend, made worse by last week’s defeat to Barca’s neighbours, Espanyol. Getafe isn’t great away from home, but has lost only one in six in the league and has a potent threat in 11-goal Angel Rodriguez. Real Madrid is at 2.04 to win with a -2.00 handicap, and Getafe at 1.89 with that start.

Levante vs RCD Espanyol

Fresh from bloodying Los Blanco’s pampered noses Espanyol head to Levante in search of another win. That victory followed four draws, but the hosts will be fearful, having lost their own last four league games and they sit just outside the bottom three on goal difference.

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

After being held by relegation-threatened Las Palmas, this game has suddenly taken on even greater significance for Barca. Atletico has smashed in nine goals in the last two matches with Diego Costa and Antoine Griezmann backed by a talented midfield. Can Lionel Messi and pals really throw this league away? An away win is available at 4.80 if you dare to dream.

WEEK 27 MONDAY:

Real Sociedad vs Alaves

Not long ago Alaves was right in the mire but four wins from five have catapulted the visitors up to 14th, and a place above their more famous hosts. Sociedad will be glad to get back home, after three away games, where they are full of goals lead by Willian Jose on 11. This’ll be a good game.

Valencia vs Real Betis

Valencia is pretty much safe in fourth and only a point behind Real Madrid, so the Mestalla is finally a happy place to be again! The Valencia fans are easily upset though and won’t like the thought of defeat to Betis…the visitors have won four of their last five on their travels.

WEEK 27 TUESDAY:

Celta Vigo vs Las Palmas

It was a rather controversial penalty that gave Las Palmas a draw against Barca, but the Gran Canarians won’t care, particularly as that point leaves them breathing down Levante’s necks. Celta Vigo packs a mighty punch though with Iago Aspas on 16 goals and Maxi Gomez on 14.
