More football betting goodness to come in Serie A

Every club is making a push to better their Serie A standing with the season nearing its end. With the way things are going, it looks like Juventus are going to run away with the trophy this year once again.

While betting odds are still in favour of the Old Lady, the rest of the clubs can still offer fantastic football and great winning to online betting fans. All you need to do is take a good look at what’s on offer this weekend.

WEEK 33 SUNDAY:

Atalanta vs Bologna

Atalanta need a big win against Bologna in order to safeguard their bid for Europa League football, so expect Alejandro Gomez to add to his 14-goal tally with his club’s push for European football. Meanwhile, Bologna are far from relegation and can completely focus on playing their own brand of football.

Fiorentina vs Inter Milan

The Viola face Inter in a game that will spell their chances of playing in Europe.

Both sides are coming off of disappointing results: Fiorentina lost to Empoli at home while Inter had to settle for a draw against derby rivals AC Milan. Both managers want the three points to edge closer to Europe, so expect big plays from Mauro Icardi and Nikola Kalinic.

Inter won the reverse fixture, but we should look at this on a clean slate and count on Fiorentina to fight rabidly. This can might on a one-goal difference that will see the Viola as narrow victors. Placing a -0.25 handicap on Fiorentina is a risky move that rewards the daredevils with 2.36 odds.

Sassuolo vs Napoli

Sassuolo have turned their fortunes around when Lorenzo Pellegrini orchestrated a second-half comeback against Sampdoria. However, Napoli haven’t lost in six and will be looking to easily snag the three points from them.

Udinese vs Cagliari

This mid-table clash will not get these two clubs anywhere, but three points are worth fighting for at this stage of the season. Cagliari and Udinese won’t get tussled in the relegation struggle anytime soon, but it pays to be safe than sorry in the fragile world of professional football.

Sampdoria vs Crotone

A win is badly needed for eighteenth-placed Crotone. Their recent run of form have placed them only five points behind Empoli and safety, so their upcoming battle against Sampdoria is a must-win. Diego Falcinelli will be making life difficult for the hosts, a club that lost against Sassuolo at fifteenth.

It’s fine to cheer for the underdog this time around because Crotone +0.50 give out 2.02!

AC Milan vs Empoli

Milan just need one win to seriously contend for Europa League, so a win against Empoli is an important agenda for Vincenzo Montella. Carlos Bacca was kept scoreless in the Milan Derby and will be hungry for goals.

Lazio vs Palermo

Palermo just got their first point in six games after preventing Bologna from scoring anything. However, they are still deep in the relegation zone, and the window of opportunity is closing fast. Winning against Palermo is quite the tall order, and they should consider kissing the top flight goodbye.

Chievo vs Torino

Joe Hart’s abysmal form over the last couple of games has robbed Torino of much-needed points, forcing them to set their plans of Europe back another year. The estranged Manchester City keeper can redeem himself by making good saves against the unassuming Chievo. I’m not sure if a good game against them would add to his stock, however.

WEEK 33 MONDAY:

Juventus vs Genoa

Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus are on a high after preventing another Barcelona comeback from happening. With the Bianconeri’s confidence soaring through the roof, it’s impossible to count on the Old Lady sending Genoa home with a sack of potatoes as a party favour.

WEEK 33 TUESDAY:

Pescara vs AS Roma

Pescara may have started their good run of form a little too late, as they are twelve points away from safety with only five game days to go. The least they can do at this point is shock the Serie A with an overwhelming victory against a confident Roma side. I don’t think that will happen, though.
