No one can stop the grand Federer Express!

Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal (6-3, 6-4)

At 35, the Swiss Maestro isn’t playing like one. Instead, he seems to have turned back the clock this 2017, delighting his live betting followers by playing one of the best tennis of his career.

Indeed, Roger Federer is playing so great that even his arch nemesis Rafael Nadal – who has dominated most of their head to head encounters – can’t do anything to stop him.-3, 6-4,

The Miami Open final is another testament to that.

Betting odds and betting tips backed Federer to win at Key Biscayne, and he proved them right with an incredible showing that left his long-time rival stunned and heartbroken, again.

It was a competitive match throughout, even if the score suggests otherwise. However, Federer’s mental toughness and brilliance in saving the break points allowed him to pull through.

Federer saved all four of Nadal’s chances at the break, and although he wasn’t able to capitalise on his early break-point chances as well, he broke the Spaniard twice—once in both sets—to take the advantage and control the match.

“I played the right way, like I have so often done this year, just very committed, and it paid off at the very end,” Federer said.

While Nadal’s service game was also good, Federer clearly had a better performance. The 30-year-old Rafa stole just five points on Rog’s first serve as the latter wound up winning 87 percent of his first-serve points.

Their return game tells a similar story as Nadal won a measly 27 percent as compared to Federer’s 40 percent return points.

Federer now has a 19-1 record, the best in the men’s tour this year, as he also became the oldest men’s champion in the Miami Open’s 33-year history.

Meanwhile, Nadal remains winless in Miami, falling to 0-5 after failing to win it all in 2005, 2008, 2011 and 2014. Both players, however, cracked into the top five of the rankings as Federer went up to fourth and Nadal fifth.

“The comeback is over,” Federer added. “I’m happy that nothing major happened throughout this period. It’s been a dream run on the court, off the court as well. My body has reacted very well and I couldn’t be happier, of course.”
