Serie A: Juventus to Assert Dominance Over Torino

Torino vs Juventus

Defending champions Juventus will look to maintain their strong form as they’ll go on the road to face Torino in their upcoming Serie A match this Sunday.

As expected, Juve still lead the top of the table – but only by a slim margin – with 26 points, which is why their next few games including this one should determine on whether they’ll be able to seize the advantage for good or not.

Torino, on the other hand, are looking to recover from their slump. They have stumbled to the 12th spot at the table after sitting pretty for the most part at No. 8.  Team manager Walter Mazzarri will have his work cut out for him as battling Juventus should be their biggest test yet.

Juventus are obviously favoured in this one. However, if they’ll get complacent, Torino might just shave off some crucial points in their favour as they continue their chase for a top-six seed.

As always, SBOBET is here to discuss some important tidbits ahead of this match.

Talking Points

Juve cruising along with Sarri-ball

Maurizio Sarri believes that the Sarri-ball will worked well on Serie A
Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri reacts during the Serie A match against Bologna

With a great mix of some youngsters and notable veterans, Maurizio Sarri has fully implemented his system aptly called as “Sarri-ball”. The said system is an attacking philosophy that features the team making short and quick passes designed to move play as far up the pitch as quickly as possible. At the same time, it encourages their defenders to initiate the attack to further rattle their opponents.

As the team has fully grasped Sarri-ball, it increased further their quality and their output for this season. They are currently fourth overall in goals scored (18) while being the second best defencive team with only nine goals conceded.

As usual, global icon Cristiano Ronaldo is at the forefront of their attack with five goals and one assist so far this season. He is, after all, expected to continue to produce a lot of goals for his squad -including some Serie A 2019 highlights as well.

Supporting him at the front are the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala, while Federico Bernardeschi is tasked to provide stability in the middle.

Forming a wall behind them are the likes of Sami Khedira, Leonardo Bonucci, and Miralem Pjanic. Not only they are great at fortifying their defence, but they can also help on the attack as well with their versatility.

With Juve seemingly getting into their midseason form, it’s hard to imagine anyone stopping them now.

Torino looks for consistency

For a while, Torino looked to be a dark horse contender as they sat comfortably around at the seventh of eighth spot. But today, they slipped to 13th in the standings after a bad month of October.

They lost some tough matches against Parma, Udinese, and Lazio while they drew level against the likes of Cagliari and Napoli in what was a couple of low-scoring affairs.

Andrea Belotti continues to be the bright spot for Walter Mazzarri with five goals this term. However, other guys like Armando Izzo and Simone Verdi have failed to step up.

Other than that, their defence has been porous as well as they gave up nine goals in their last five games. That’s a far cry to their superb form last season when they ended up fifth overall on that regard.

Facing an in-form Juventus squad will be a daunting task for I Granata, and they’re going to be in for a long night. But they have no choice but to try their best against them if ever they still want that top-six finish at the end of the season.

History

History does favour the defending champions on this one as they have won in 19 out of their 26 total matches together. Torino have only won once along with six draws.

The Old Lady have won four of their last five meetings in Serie A, although Torino managed to draw level back last May with a 1-1 tally.

I Granata’s last win against Juve in a Serie A tiff was back in April 1995.

Betting Tip

??
Torino vs Juventus Juventus Asian Handicap -0.75 @ 1.73
November 03, 03:45 (GMT+8)

Our Serie A 2019 odds have Juventus as the hot favourites in this fixture at 1.57, while Torino are at 6.80 and chances for a draw are at 3.50, based on the 1×2 market.

This should be a fascinating clash since both of these teams have the penchant of producing a lot of goals. Torino will fancy their chances of causing a lot of problems for the defending champions. However, Juventus’ firepower might prove to be too much for the hosts to handle.

A SHORT EXPLANATION ON HOW OUR (??) BETS ARE WORTH:
